“I’ve trained with Andy regularly for several years and highly recommend him. He’s friendly, personable and incredibly knowledgeable. He helped me train towards CrossFit competitions in my later years. A fantastic PT!”

Archie - Junior Shot Putter

Archie - “Since I started going to Andy, I have seen a big improvement with my strength and I am now lifting heavier weights in the gym. I am also throwing further which proves it is all working.

I enjoy training with Andy because he is always encouraging me to push myself to my limits and he is very fun to be around.”

Archie’s Dad Steve - “Archie has been going to Andy now since Jan 2026. Not only is Archie loving the gym work, he is noticeably getting stronger and faster which is showing in his discus and shot put.

Andy is the perfect coach and his knowledge of the type of training required is exactly what Archie needs to progress. The pair of them work well and we always look forward to gym day.”

GUY - MULTIPLE IRONMAN, HYROX & ATHX COMPETITOR

I have been doing 1-1 personal training with Andy for over 10 years (and it’s genuine 1-1 in his own private facilities). Originally, it was for weight loss, and Andy put together a sustainable programme that was a mix of cardio and weights (I had been away from regular exercise for many years) and I achieved my weight loss goal within a few months.

He also reignited my love for sports. Since then, I’ve done endurance cycling, endurance swimming, triathlon (including full Ironman) and now, hybrid fitness racing.

Regardless of whichever sport, Andy has done the research on the training and fitness requirements and then created and delivered a programme that is complementary and fits around the other training elements and manages training loads. The platform is always strength training and progressive loading that pushes progress but at an achievable rate.

Andy doesn’t do the latest internet fad.

With an academic background in sports science and delivery around elite sports he delivers the fundamentals with particular focus on form and function that actually works. In over 10 years, I have largely avoided any injuries because of this.

If you are looking to get fitter, more active and lose some weight, train for a specific sport. Or just love lifting very big weights in a safe environment then Andy is your man.

And we share a love of 80s rock so he has the best gym playlist in Northamptonshire!

MICHAEL - ENGLISH SCHOOLS SHOT PUT CHAMPION

The left image shows him indoors, lifting a barbell during a workout, wearing a red shirt and black shorts. The right image shows the same athlete outdoors at a track and field stadium, dressed in a white race bib with 'ENGLAND,' yellow and red shoes, and black arm sleeves, smiling with trees and spectators in the background.

“Andy has not only given me the strength and power to become the U17 English Schools shot put champion, but he has taught me why we do the things we do in the gym.

We work together to create training plans and he always listens to me and what I think before we set out new routines.

He has been a huge part of my growth as an athlete, and I love training with him every day.”

I started training with Andy when I was 12 years old. At the time, I was just a young boy who loved rugby but lacked the knowledge on how to increase my strength, power, and structure needed to really excel on the pitch.

Harry - Rugby Player, Northampton SaintS ACADEMY

Andy didn't just give me generic workouts. He built a long-term, rugby-specific strength and conditioning program that grew alongside me. He taught me proper lifting technique from day one, focusing on injury prevention, explosive power, and speed.

Now, I’m part of Northampton Saints Academy. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without his guidance. He didn't just build my body; he built my confidence and elite athlete mindset. If you want a trainer who truly understands sports performance and how to unlock your potential, look no further.

Dave - Long term client

“I have been working with Andy for 15 years now. He keeps me honest, pushes me hard and makes me work harder than I would by myself. I have been the strongest in my life training with Andy, I just wish I had known him for longer.”

Emily – U18 Track and Field Athlete and Indoor Rower

“Training with Andy was a great experience. He introduced me to rowing when I was injured from my usual impact sports and his focus on continuous improvement and realistic goals massively helped me.”

“Andy’s approach to coaching is personable which kept me engaged and positive in a difficult time in my athletic journey, as well as encouraging me to compete against myself and push my limits.”
